According to news reports the Indian the government has approved soft loans for another 61 ethanol facilities to help it achieve its 20% ethanol blending mandate by 2025.
The new facilities will produce 2.57 billion liters of ethanol production capacity, of which 1.86 billion liters will use grain as feedstock.
All of the approved projects have already received environmental and building permits. The total investment for the 61 project is around $845 million.
