Inter Terminals Sweden is aiming to offer methanol bunkering services at the Swedish port of Gothenburg before the end of the year.
In a recent social media post, the bulk liquid storage provider said preparations are ongoing to rebuild some of the tanks and related infrastructure to enable the provision of methanol as a marine fuel.
According to Inter Terminals Sweden, work is currently progressing to define a suitable location for a Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) which will manage the gases from methanol when loading.
